Introduction
Aim
The aim of this course is for the candidate to prove their continued competence in the use of the Signal Maintenance Testing Handbook. The competencies that can be re-certified are:

Objectives
On successful completion of the course the candidate will be able to:
| Continue to carry out Signal Maintenance Testing activities in accordance with SMTH in the competencies currently held and successfully re-certified as competent in. |
Who Should Attend
Features
This course is run as a one to one assessment. The candidate is observed undertaking each of the defined tests (for the competencies held) as defined in the SMT handbook. The assessment is supported by further questioning as required and is followed up by feedback detailing any requirements for re-training/mentorship if required.
