Introduction
This Clamp Lock installation training course focuses on the installation and maintenance of Mark II Clamp Locks for plain leads and single slips with reference to double slips and switch diamonds.
Objectives
On successful completion of the course the candidates will be able to:
Install a Mk2 clamp
lock to a plain lead in accordance with the Clamp Lock Handbook

on a clamp lock fitted plain lead in accordance with the Signal Maintenance
Specifications Volume 2 PB11 and PB15
| Carry out first line
faulting on a clamp lock fitted plain lead in accordance with instructions
in the Signal Maintenance Specifications and the Clamp Lock Handbook
| Carry out a point care
pre-inspection on clamp lock fitted points in accordance with instructions
in the Clamp Lock Handbook
