First Aid

Introduction

Under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, employees are required to make adequate and appropriate arrangements for first aid in the workplace. In short this means providing 'suitable and sufficient' first aid equipment, facilities, procedures and trained personnel. By carrying out an assessment of first aid needs, you will have established what equipment, facilities and personnel you must provide in your workplace to meet and comply with legislation.

Personnel attending and successfully completing this course will be qualified first aiders, helping you to meet the above requirements.
