This Point Machine Installation course focuses on the installation of HW type point machines but also includes information pertaining to GEC and WRSL 63 point machine.

On successful completion of the course the candidate will be able to:

Who Should Attend
Candidates who are responsible for the installation of the Type HW point
machines. Ideally candidates should have attended an Introduction to British
Rail Signalling course and should be able to read circuit diagrams.
Learning Approach
Classroom theory sessions using visual aids, working models and practical
demonstrations. 80% of the course will be made up of practical activities.
Theory and practical assessments are used to test the course objectives and
candidate knowledge.
Features
A school environment with
the ability to have faults applied. This environment also allows component
changing under controlled conditions and where appropriate the equipment may be
stripped and re-built. This is a Learning environment without distractions.
