PTS Training Course Attendance requirements

We receive many phone calls on a daily basis requesting attendance on PTS Initial courses. There are pre-requisites that must be met before you will be accepted onto a PTS Initial course, YOU MUST meet one or both of these requirements;
You must have a valid Sponsor already Link-Up approved OR
You must be link-Up approved yourself
A link-up approved company or person will have gone through a stringent audit process before being allowed to carry out any works on the Network Rail infrastructure.
The NCCA Coordinator within a Link-Up approved company will be the person who will need to make the booking on your behalf and upon successful completion of the PTS course, your NCCA accreditation (NCCA card) will be forwarded to this person who will then pass it on to you.
There are NO alternatives to this. This ruling has been set by Network Rail and no accredited training company will be able to register your competence onto the NCCA training database unless you meet one or both of the above requirements.
